PMT-Jetmill GmbH is on one hand specialized in optimizing
air streams to improve efficiencies and to minimize
energy consumption in different processes.
On the other hand we are also specialists in the field of
fine grinding and ultrafine grinding of industrial minerals,
especially talc, kaolin, barite, graphite and mica. Micronising (micronizing) and finegrinding is our strength!
In this field we set new scales in energy consumption and
product fineness with our own developed PMT Spiral
Jetmill SJ50 - Series.
This powder mill with its integrated classifier and the new developed
so called MotorRotorUnit,
made of high strength aluminum alloy, it is now possible to
reach high circumferential speeds up to 190 m/s.
The specially developed feed control system combined with
optimized nozzles leads to a saving of at least 30 % of
the specific energy consumption compared to common systems.
The finegrinding efficiency of a microniser will be increased through
its closed grinding and classifying circuit and also through
an adjustable constant loading rate, which is granted by above
mentioned control system.
Powder mills from PMT Jetmill:
- Up to 30% less specific energy consumption compared
to common powder mills.
- Increase of the grinding efficiency due to the closed
grinding and classifying circuit, resulting in a higher
output per hour respectively a reduction of the energy
cost per ton of finished product.
- Easy adjustment of the fineness with regulation of rpm
at the Rotor with an excellent top size reduction of the
final product. Top cut of the products down to 0,8 µm.
- Automatic feed control in relation to the inside load
of the mill (adjustable regulation point); optimal grinding
conditions in the mill independent of the production
fineness.
- Grinding medium is either high pressure air (3,5 to 15
bar) or overheated steam (up to 24 bar and 400°C) and
volumes from 500 to 6000 Nm³/h.
- Continues reject of hard grindable mineral parts
(e.g. quartz) by a separate reject device.
